One of the best and literally one of the best noodle and wonton houses is hiding in the middle of Hollywood. This place offers flavor beyond belief. It's hard to recommend any specific dishes because all of them were so good! Ok, this is what I can say try a couple noodles and wontons! Doesn't matter which ones. They're all fantastic. BUT, do not skip the marinated tofu skin and cucumbers. You might easily overlook them but they're phenomenal. The inside is dimly lit giving this spot a true Chinese noodle bar kind of feel with a slight hip urban flair. One of our favorite spots. No question.

Update review. We love the food here, very authentic. We came on Saturday for lunch, got lucky with the last table. We ordered the scallion pancakes, spicy pork wontons and beef stew in broth. As always, pancakes and wontons were great. The beef stew broth and noodles were terrific - however the pieces of stew were so tough we found them inedible. We called our server, Garrett over, and let him know the beef was inedible. As always, he was perfectly professional and apologized. He offered to remove the charge for this dish and let us order something else. I told him we'd just eat the rest of the wonderful broth and noodles and we'd be too full for something else. He told us he would not sell this dish again for the day. We've ordered this dish several times and it's always been super, so this was an anomaly. When he brought our check, he mentioned he had remove the dish from the bill, which we appreciated. I told Garrett I was going to post this, and he asked me to say he's funny, which he was, but also he represents this restaurant in the best way possible.

Tried several things on the menu and everything was really good. The spicy wantons stood out as amazing. The chili oil took it to another level. Would go back just for those.

Such a great spot for dumplings! A literal hole in the wall this place really satisfied my cravings. It's a small cozy joint but the customer service was quick and friendly. I tried a little of everything and was not disappointed! I definitely recommend trying the spicy pork wontons!!

The food was good. I just wish they had hot mustard. The portions were generous. The service was fairly fast, being they were super busy on a weekday. The place was nice, it had a decent amount of seating and we were able to be seated in a short time.

We were in the area for a show at the pantages theater , which is only two blocks away. Loved the inside of the restaurant, small but fun vibe . We ordered the xiao long bao $12.50 (pork) 3/5 , not super flavorful and a bit thick , wouldn't order again. We got the pan fried pork potstickers $11.50 5/5 way more flavor, definitely skip the soup bao and get these. The scallion pancakes $6.50 4.5/5 was another delicious treat. We also got the seafood soup noodles $12.50 3.5/5 not bad but the broth was lacking. Then we ordered the stewed beef soup noodles $13 4/5 , broth was better than the seafood soup but I was bummed cause the noodles were all stuck together. Overall not a bad place, but would I drive out of my way to come here, no. If we are in the area for a show again maybe . I will say the service was great and everyone was kind. We said we were on a time crunch and they were super helpful .
